There's A Counter On This Ball...

OK, another blast from the past! Remember the Skip-It?? I spent thousands of hours on my driveway with my best friend and our trusty Skip-Its – I want one now!!! I wish I could remember my highest score…

What was your favorite “radical” toy from childhood??

I had a hot pink one...it was my favorite toy ever. I used to "skip it" to school rather than walk. I know, I was cool!

I remember that I got up to 999 once and I was so disappointed because that's as high as it would go, because they only had the 3 dials that turned on it.

They need to put those back out on the market, so some of these little kids can lose some weight.

Count me in as a little kid, too. Because I'd totally buy one for a workout now that I think about it.

I had a pink skip it! This is reminding me of pop rockers...did anyone have a pop rocker? Mine came with the song, "Walk Like an Egyptian." hahaha

I loved this item. It actually had kids doing exercise without their knowledge.

Omg your blog is giving me soooo many childhood flashbacks!! Stop being awesome!!!

We used to have skip it competitions in elementary school, and that outfit would be exactly what I'd be wearing --- half ponytail and ALL!!

Our daughter had one of those. Sort of a jump rope with a counter. I think kids now days would wonder where to plug it in, since everything is electronic (and expensive) these days.

hey girl,

i'm headed to sephora on wednesday (they are currently out of stock, but said they get shipments on wednesdays)! have you ever tried one of their "duo" sets? it has the blush and either a bronzing powder or a highlighting powder.

here's the link: http://www.narscosmetics.com/Blush-and-Bronzing-Duo-C454_makeup_2.aspx
