So, remember when I said I am never afraid to embarrass myself? Well, I am certainly going to hold true to that with parts of this post. Everyone has a few *top secret* beauty tricks that might be considered a little strange and even somewhat freaky at times. I am no exception – this one actually works for me though so I just had to share for the mere fact that I am HOPING that I am not the only one that does this.
What are you most afraid of as far as the aging process goes? I want to avoid two things and if this can be done I will consider myself a success. Anything outside of these two things I can handle and in fact, I welcome aging because it simply means that we are still alive and hopefully living a fabulous, long life! Here goes…
#1. The dreaded “vajayjay” neck…you know the kind. I fully understand that aging is a wonderful and natural process but I CANNOT allow myself to have a wrinkly, thin-skinned neck that looks like…well…a vajayjay. The firming lotion process has already begun.
#2. I also want to avoid having lip wrinkles or lines or whatever they are called! I think lips/mouths/teeth of all kinds are really what make someone look youthful. I have a secret for this that I will now share under one condition – if you or anyone you know does this, please speak up because otherwise I will feel like the biggest freak alive.
OK…I brush my lips with a soft-bristle toothbrush and Vaseline!!!! (ahhhh…I am ashamed). It is not, I repeat, is NOT the same toothbrush I use to brush my teeth. I have a special one just for this purpose. I don’t even know what started all of this, it just happened. It makes your lips so smooth and really moisturizes them. It also kind of acts like a natural plumper. Damn…am I weird or what??
Anyway, I am soooooo happy it is Friday! Work has been wild this week and I can’t wait to go out for Mexican food tonight with Drew P and the fam. There will definitely be some good eats happening and maybe even a few of these…
Oh and one more thing before I go. I am ALWAYS buying candles and I have recently fallen in love with Tyler Candles. They are sold in little gift shops and boutiques but they have a website, too. You should check them out ASAP!
