I've Made Up My Mind About Summer Time!


OK ladies, it is soooo time for me to get going on the "bikini preparation."  Summer is right around the corner and I refuse to hit the beaches while worrying about how I look in a bathing suit...I want to be comfortable and healthy!!

*You may have noticed the new addition to the top of my blog - I decided to put it FRONT AND CENTER so that I am forced to look at it and hopefully it will help keep me accountable as well.  Feel free to send some heartfelt and STERN encouragement my way as it is much needed.  :)

*Time for honesty - last year with the help of Weight Watchers I lost 17 pounds but have gained 5 of it back since Thanksgiving of last year.  I am now 12 pounds away from my goal weight (hence the tracker above).  I feel like this is very attainable before summer!

*I will continue to do my WW, but today I started the 30 Day Shred to help jump start this whole endeavor.  It.kicked.my.butt.  THE END.

I will post updates on Tuesdays (this is my weigh-in day) and I will hope for the best!!  I know I can do it, I just have to start NOW.

You can do it girl!! I am doing the 30 day shred workouts as well and they are kicking my butt too, but it gets easier. The you go to level 2.. ha! Good luck, I am right there with you!

Good luck girl!! I have got to get this 30 day Shred DVD that everyone is talking about!! I am trying to get in better bikini shape too but my diet can be so awful at times! I am good about exercising(I'm a runner) so I really need to work on tweaking my diet!

Ooh, good luck! I'm in the same boat as you - I'll call you out if you call me out? ;) For real though, good luck with the 30 day shred - so many ladies have given it positive reviews and I hope it goes well for you.

hey girl -

i just kicked in to "bikini" mode too.........time to get SKINNY!

i did my first workout of the "30 day shred" yesterday and almost died. i'm sore today! i just want to tone up and lose a few inches - and i'm sure i could stand to lose a pound, or two.....or five or ten. ;-)

GOOD LUCK - YOU CAN DO IT!!!
But, for the record.......i think you look great! i'm actually shocked you want to lose a whole 12 pounds.

Ashley...you CAN do it. Way to share your goals and encourage others! I too would like to shed about 10lbs before summer. I just did a 7 day detox to kick start my efforts and am going to continue to alter my diet after today. I am also going to look into this 30 Day shred!!!

You can definitely do it!!! I'll be joining you. I was doing well for a while, but I've lapsed in my gym-going. I was just basing things on how I looked and fit in my clothes, rather than weight, but now that I'm bulging out of all my clothing, I think I had better weigh myself at the gym again so I can set a numeric goal for myself again. Here's to being bikini ready by summer!!!

You can do it! I've lost 20 pounds with WW now and I just started the shred workout last week. So far I really like it. I am 4.2 pounds from my original goal but I may change it when I get there. I'll be thinking about you! GL!
