Impromptu

You know how sometimes you don’t realize how long your hair has gotten until someone tells you or you see a recent picture of yourself?? This just happened to me today! My hair has gotten SOOO long and I didn’t even realize it – I feel much better about it than usual though. For the FIRST time since I was 16, I have absolutely ZERO color/highlights/lowlights in my hair and it feels awesome. I always loved having my hair highlighted but never realized how much damage it was doing to my hair in the long run. My hair is happy with me for once!!

I finally broke down and got my nails done, too. Sigh. I always end up kicking myself for submitting to the solar nails but they are so easy and convenient. I haven’t had “nails” since my wedding in 2007 but I have been keeping up with the whole manicure ordeal. How frustrating is it to get a manicure and have your nails painted the perfect color, only to have it peel off IMMEDIATELY! Solar nails are my friends, ladies…no excuses.

My J.Crew dress came today – the one I will be wearing to THE wedding that I spoke of earlier. Hopefully, my yellow dress will send some cheer everyone’s way and there will be no arguments, embarrassment or falling outs of any kind.
