Salt Lick

I love salty stuff to the max!! I can try and try to avoid it, but it is simply impossible for me. I rarely get tempted by anything sweet – cakes, candy, brownies – none of it appeals to me. What does appeal to me?? Fries, chips, cheese, Chex-mix, spicy stuff, jalapeños, salsa, potatoes…on and on. S.A.L.T and S.P.I.C.Y. The end.

So, I ask, what is a girl to do? I am forever rummaging through my WW snack suggestion book to find the saltiest/spiciest things possible for the lowest amount of points. I have to realize that this is just going to be my food downfall – I must continue to eat salt.

My main question is this:

Are you a sweets kinda girl?



or

A salty, spicy kinda girl?

I am a sweets and salty kind of girl! You just so happened to post my faves on here too: cupcakes and jalapeno chips! Not together though. I just finished off that exact bag of chips the other night. We live in Texas, you gotta love the spicy food!

Sweets, Sweets, Sweets. But not so much the cakes and brownies...but cupcakes and CANDY. I HAVE TO HAVE IT.

I have this simple yet tasty snack that I love eating..

I take a tomato and eat it like an applie.. biting into it around the core. But before each bite, I sprinkle a dash of salt on it!

Healthy and yummy.. and S.A.L.T.Y!!

I am definitely a salty kind of girl! I am constantly trying to find a healthy alternative to chips because I CRAVE them. Recently I've had quaker rice chips which are pretty good, but I still want some good old fashioned potato chips!

I am totally a sweets kind of girl. I have dessert once a day almost every day (really).

Most of the time, I'd rather eat dessert than a normal meal.

I just ate Kettle pocorn for lunch - sweet and salty. I'm a mixed bag. ;-)

I like BOTH!!! Double whammy :-\ I love chocolate anything .....REESE'S will be the death of me. I love chips and salsa/queso. Miss Vicki Jalapeno chips are my fav. I usually have to have salty then sweet. Chex Mix sweey & salty takes care of my problem :)

Have you ever tried Flat Earth Veggie Crisps? They have a ton of varieties and they are really good. They are also pretty healthy alternatives. Want to sabotage my diet? Give me a red velvet cup cake with cream cheese frosting and some salt and vinegar potato chips. Yummm... Now I'm feeling all Homer Simpson and I hate that show.

I am also a salt freak! My mom used to tell me that I was going to "dry up and blow away" one day if I didn't stop eating it! LOVE IT!

I am a carb junky! Sadly a lot of the high carb foods are also high in salt. But I also wouldn't get in between me and my pure sugar (candy)! Perfect meal = chips and sweet tarts :)

Salty-sweet here! I like to combine the two. Popcorn and sour straws, chips and m&m's ... gotta mix 'em up til I am satisfied! :o)

It depends on the day. I do love crunchy food though. It's a favorite. I am a big fan of pretzels...mmm!

I like both, but I'd probably pick sweet over salty. I love them together. Take 5 bars from Hershey are the ultimate sweey & salty combination for me.

Oh my gosh- you HAVE to try LIGHT Ruffles Sour Cream and Cheddar chips. They are a hidden WW gem with only ONE POINT in a 17-chip serving. (Typically, I'll have 3 servings considering a typical snack is like 3 pts!) They are DELICIOUS! They are BETTER than the regular Ruffles and extra crispy and amazing.
