Christmas Debate ~ Help!!

I am in the middle of a heated, somewhat ridiculous, very passionate debate...about CHRISTMAS PRESENTS FROM SANTA!!! I thought I would post the situation on the blog and see what ya'll think...

So, question:

When you were little (or to those of us who are still lucky enough to get presents from Santa)...

...were your presents WRAPPED or UNWRAPPED????

Santa presents were always UNWRAPPED at our house so that we could see exactly what they were as soon as we ran down the stairs and over to the fireplace. But I have since been told (psshhh) that Santa presents are supposed to be WRAPPED!!

So which is it? WRAPPED OR UNWRAPPED???

Oh, and for those of you who remember this post, or this post, or even this post... I am proud to say that MARTINI MONDAY will return tomorrow with a special Christmas Edition! Yum...can't wait!!

Have a fab Sunday!!

XOXO,

Ashley

Well ours were always wrapped - unless they were big things, like play houses, kitchen sets, dollhouses, etc. Unwrapping is the best part!!! The suspense used to kill me.

Ours were unwrapped. Santa is very very busy, so wrapping was not a priority for him. :-)

santa presents were definitely UNWRAPPED. and me and my sister each had a different chair where our stockings sat...any presents between the chairs were from santa for both of us.

My mom always left our "Santa presents" unwrapped but put them in a big huge trash-bag like decorative gift bag.

Ours were always wrapped. In my opinion, it was a lot more fun to unwrap and it left us in suspense. When we woke up, the tree looked so pretty with tons of mysteriously wrapped presents!

I asked my hubby for his input too...both of our moms used special "Santa wrapping paper" for our Santa presents...only the presents from Santa would be wrapped in one kind of paper. But they were always wrapped!

Santa presents were wrapped when I was young, but my Husband said that his were unwrapped. He also said that Santa only brought 1-2 toys (the ones he specifically asked for) I think that's a cute way to do it and I think that that's what we'll do with our future kids! :)

i almost had a heart attack at the sight of a new post from you!! :) depending on the size, "santa gifts" were wrapped (as long as they were small). Bikes, kitchens, hula hoops etc were not wrapped lol is the debate with Drew?!? lol

WELCOME BACK, LOVIE! Our presents from Santa were always wrapped. We like having that much more of a surprise awaiting us. But hey, presents wrapped or unwrapped - they are still presents - you can't go wrong!

Our presents were always wrapped, but personally nowadays I rather leave them unwrapped and put them in decorative boxes that you can use to the store things or then gift bags that are also reusable. I'm trying to green our ways one step at the time. And all that gift wrap trash that comes during the holidays is just horrendous (if that's how you spell it ;)).
